Social networking site ibibo.com has roped in Ravi Shastri, a former Indian cricketer and now a cricket commentator, to start a cricket-related blog on the ibibo platform. Ravi Shastri is currently in Australia to cover the ODI (One Day International) Triangular series between India, Australia and Sri Lanka. Ravi Shastri will blog about each match on ibibo.com.

Ravi Shastri will also answer questions from the ibibo community and will adjudge the winner on the basis of the most number of interesting questions asked and answered. Six lucky winners will get to meet Ravi Shastri in Mumbai, Ibibo has said.

Microsoft offers to buy Yahoo for $44.6 billion

Microsoft has made an offer to buy Yahoo for $44.6 billion, in a bold bid to transform the two ailing internet businesses into a worthy competitor for market leader Google. Yahoo has said its board will evaluate the unsolicited offer.

India has largest number of Googlers outside the US

 India is fast becoming Google’s delight. Google India has already become the second-largest operation for Google worldwide in terms of employee numbers. The Google operations in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad put together, make for the highest number of Googlers outside the United States.
